DCB's 2021 Design Law Advisory Group service will begin

 

• Design companies and designers in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam can get Free legal and accounting advisory services provided by DCB.
• It provides free consultation by experts such as intellectual property rights, contracts, labor, accounting, etc.

DCB has launched a legal advisory service to resolve disputes, including infringement of design companies' intellectual property rights and unfair trade.

Since 2016, the Design Law Advisory Group, which provides free legal counseling and advice to local design companies and design-related industry workers, aims to help them solve design-related unfair trade, intellectual property disputes, design service expenses, and design company management problems. They provide more than 90 advisory services each year.

The Design Law Advisory Group Operation Project will consult designers with the cases of damage received with 13 expert members, including lawyers, patent attorneys, labor attorneys, accountants. They also educate design companies and designers on sharing and responding to damage cases through workshops and seminars.

This year, advice related to legal disputes, such as unfair transactions or overdue wages, will be transferred to the Dispute Mediation Committee to support smooth resolution without cumbersome litigation procedures.

Kim Eun-myung, Head of Design Promotion Team, DCB, said, “In 2021, We will promote the design industry through our design legal advisory group management project that reduces costs and procedures.”
